FISV is a non-profit organization whose aim is to coodinate the activities of scientific societies at national and international levels to promote the development of scientific research in Life Sciences. This year the congress edition has a drafted program aiming at fostering interdisciplinary exchange at the forefront of the life sciences spanning from the new genomic editing technology and precision medicine to sustainable agricultural approaches. Internationally renowned scientists from Italy and abroad will present their most recent data; in addition, the meeting will also allow several early career Italian and foreign scientists to present their research in a highly stimulating scientific environment. We will also have round tables on selected current topics as well as talks dedicated to a broader audience to enhance the interaction between scientists and non scientists. The FISV Congress will bring together scientists from across the world and will offer an invaluable opportunity to discuss scientific issues in the fields of Life Sciences. The congress will be opened to all researchers from Italy and abroad and will include a full range of academic sessions, plenary lectures, and social/cultural events. We plan to have talks by more than 30 invited speakers . Other researchers, mainly young researcher, will get an opportunity to showcase their work through the mini symposium sessions and during oral flash poster presentations.
