VISAR — Vienna Interdisciplinary Symposium on Aortic Repair

Time is flying quickly and it is a great pleasure to welcome you again to Vienna for the 14th Vienna Interdisciplinary Symposium on Aortic Repair (VISAR).

After a pandemic-caused break we are back on stage! In the typical VISAR tradition, international experts from different medical specialties will provide state-of-the-art educational lectures and discuss the management of challenging cases and complications in the treatment of aortic diseases. Due to the excellent feedback, we will continue and expand our hands-on session during the entire course.

Over the course of VISAR 2022, you’ll be informed about newest findings and knowledge related to aortic diseases, get an insight into ongoing trials, exchange with your peers and learn from international experts! Take the opportunity to actively contribute to the meeting by submitting a case to present, by participating in the debates & discussions and getting educated by attending some of the small group hands-on sessions! The program once again consists on a well-balanced mixture of state-of-the-art lectures on management of challenging cases and complications, related case presentations and discussions, and hands-on training sessions on different topics related to aortic therapy as well. These hands-on training sessions include wet-lab training and workshops dedicated to different therapeutic means. The main sessions are organized around “key-note cases” and provide multidisciplinary pro-and con debates on the highest level of experience to provide highest possible practical value for the attendees.
