The 2022 Gordon Research Conference in quantum science will bring together a group of students, postdocs and senior scientists, all working at the frontier of quantum science to report and discuss ground-breaking experimental and theoretical advances. The main focus will be on devices based on AMO platforms, but also include condensed matter platforms such as superconducting circuits. The meeting will cover new developments in quantum simulation, quantum information, and quantum sensing. It will explore connections between entanglement, thermalization and decoherence with corresponding implications in quantum information AMO and CM physics, and gravitational physics. The conference will also review recent developments in the understanding of emergent universal properties of non-equilibrium dynamics of many-body systems across a broad range of fields from quantum simulators to ultrafast experiments in solids to high energy physics.
