The Line Emission Mapper (LEM) Probe team will hold a science and technology workshop between February 28 – March 3 at the Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts. LEM's primary goal is a comprehensive look at the physics of galaxy formation, including the stellar and black-hole feedback and flows of baryonic matter into and out of galaxies, which are best studied in X-rays. The workshop will present the current broad science case and the state of the underlying detector and mirror technology, in preparation for the 2023 NASA Astrophysics Probes call.
