FASEB Science Research Conference — The Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) Conference: Structure, Function and Disease

Launched in 2007, this cross-disciplinary FASEB Science Research Conference (SRC) is focused on endoplasmic reticulum (ER) function and dynamics, and the contribution of ER dysfunction to disease.  The conference brings together cell biologists and disease-oriented researchers, including both trainees and independent investigators. It attracts basic researchers interested in protein folding, protein secretion, cellular stress responses, protein post-translational modification, proteasome dependent protein degradation, and regulation of lipid biosynthesis, as well as researchers focusing on a range of pathologies, including diabetes, neurodegeneration, cancer, and diseases of protein misfolding.
