Are you a current student of the University of Brighton?

Would you like to feedback about the Disabled Student Experience at Brighton?

Do you want to be involved in shaping university practices to ensure that the needs of all disabled students are met?

We are looking to recruit a group of 8-10 students to join our Disabled Student Forum to improve representation of students with a variety of disabilities, neurodivergence and health conditions.

This paid Grade 3 role (Approx £14.98 per hour) will require you to attend a 2-hour training and briefing session, followed by three 2-hour meetings a year. These will help to shape the development of our Action Plan for the Disabled Student Commitment, a national accreditation that is looking to enhance the experience for all disabled students. You will also be able to raise current student issues, or provide feedback for other areas of university strategy and practice.

Proposed dates for the meetings for 2025-26 are:

Wednesday 22nd October 3-4pm, Moulsecoomb campusWednesday 5th November 3-4pm, Falmer campusWednesday 18th February 3-4pm, City CampusWednesday 15th April 3-4pm, Moulsecoomb Campus

We have deliberately scheduled meetings across the different university campuses, but will pay you for public transport costs incurred from your normal campus where needed.
