You will have experience of using Office 365, and of using creative processes to organise and deliver your work. You will have great communication skills both in person and in writing, and will work with internal and external stakeholders, providing day to day support with the events and activities on campus. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including event planning and delivery, supervision of student staff, and teamwork. A high level of attention to detail is required to ensure that events and activities are carried out in halls with a sense of professionalism and community connection. This is an active role that requires walking between sites, lifting boxes, and considerable time standing at events. All ResX Officers focus on building community in their residences and will be expected to connect with students on an individual basis and in front of large groups.

There are 2 roles available, one based at our Sutton Bonnington campus and one covering the UP/Jubilee/partner residential campus area. These positions are both offered as a 40-week contract. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week) and will typically be carried out during term time to ensure coverage while students are in residence. This role will be required to work weekends and evening shifts as part of those 5 days in a 5 over 7 rotation. Shifts are typically between 9am to 5pm, 12pm to 8pm, and 2pm to 10pm, however the hours are dictated by the programme and flexibility is required. Job share arrangements may be considered.
