About the RoleThis role offers the opportunity for a 12-month secondment (2.5 days per week) to set up and lead our Project Management Office function, which is being established to manage and oversee a range of strategic change projects. You will be expected to deliver successful change through Programme and Project Management. You will be the key advisor to senior management sponsors, enabling informed decision making across projects, process reviews and change management initiatives.
You will confidently lead and manage multiple strategic projects at one time, acting autonomously within budget, scope and schedule tolerances, to deliver agreed business benefits. You will employ end-to-end process review techniques and change management skills collaboratively, acting as a source of knowledge and support for sponsors, project teams and professional colleagues. In addition, to this you will be expected to understand and apply emerging trends and deliver business outcomes that are aligned to the University’s strategy.

Proven ability to use judgement and develop appropriate solutions/responses to complex and sensitive issues where there is no established precedent.
