About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our vibrant academic team at Winchester School of Art. This role is ideal for a creative practitioner with a relevant industry background or educator with substantial expertise in digital design and communication tailored to the fashion, textile, and lifestyle industries.
You will contribute to the delivery of innovative teaching, curriculum development, and student support across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners to enhance the student experience and ensure our graduates are equipped with cutting-edge skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching in digital design and communication for fashion and lifestyle contexts.Support curriculum development and assessment.Provide guidance and mentorship to students.Essential Criteria
Substantial practical knowledge and experience in digital design and communication within fashion, textiles, or lifestyle industries.Experience gained through industry practice, vocational training, or formal qualifications.Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to plan and manage educational activities within university frameworks.Problem-solving skills and awareness of trends in the field.Desirable Criteria
Degree or equivalent experience in Visual Communication, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or related field.Experience teaching or working in fashion and lifestyle industries.Proficiency in digital design software and communication platforms.Understanding of branding, visual culture, and consumer engagement.Teaching qualification (PGCAP or equivalent).Membership of the Higher Education Academy.Join us in shaping the future of fashion education through digital innovation and creative excellence.
