Lancaster University are looking for a passionate, experienced and proactive Tax Manager to join our Financial Operations and Compliance team.

The role will support the Financial Operations and Compliance team in a portfolio of indirect tax compliance activities including the submission of the group VAT return and ensuring University compliance with relevant tax legislation including imports and exports. The role will also involve liaison with HMRC and internal and external auditors on relevant areas of their portfolio.
As a member of the Financial Operations and Compliance team, the role holder will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills looking to support efficient and effective business processes, with a focus on customer service.
Applicants must meet all the essential criteria on the Person Specification to be considered for interview. This is a permanent role opportunity with hybrid working options. The role will be based within the Finance Division at Lancaster University’s Bailrigg Campus.
