About the role
This role will provide administrative support to our Pathology team and to our Abattoir Manager, with the role being based primarily in the Pathology office. You will be a main point of contact for telephone enquiries, manage invoicing and other administrative duties. You will be part of a wider operational team that supports the Veterinary School, and you will work flexibly to support the Professional Services across the School.
About you
We’re looking for an organised and proactive administrator with strong IT skills, excellent communication, and the confidence to be a professional first point of contact for our busy Pathology and Abattoir teams. You’ll bring experience of managing your own workload to meet deadlines, a commitment to delivering high quality customer service, and the ability to build positive working relationships across a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with accuracy, reliability and a willingness to learn at the heart of your approach.

This is a full time position. Your working hours will be 36.25 hours per week. This is a fixed-term post available for 12 months.
