Description :

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our research team as a Research Assistant within the animal behaviour, cognition and welfare group at the University of Lincoln, initially for 3 months (from the beginning of December). There is the potential for the contract to be extended (subject to further funding), pending initial results possibly for a further 2-3 months. This is a collaborative research project between the School of Pharmacy and School of Life Sciences that is subject to confidentiality due to the commercial value of the work.

You will have excellent communication skills, be experienced in behavioural research methods (preferably preference testing or similar) and have excellent cat handling skills.

The University of Lincoln is a forward-thinking, ambitious institution and you will be working in the heart of a thriving, beautiful, safe and friendly city. The Schools provide a stimulating environment for academic research, and are based in high quality, newly developed facilities.

If you would like to know more about this opportunity please contact Professor Daniel Mills on dmills@lincoln.ac.uk.

Please be advised that candidates for this post will need to be eligible to work in the United Kingdom as sponsorship is unlikely to be available for this post.
