In the new BM curriculum the Year 3 exams will take place in July of Year 3 (or Year 2 in the case of BM4 students) with a supplementary opportunity in late August. If passed students are able to progress directly to Year 4. A component of the Year 3 examination is the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). This consists of a 16 x 8 minute station examination with all students completing all stations currently over two days.

This post holder will be responsible for designing and implementing the Year 3 OSCE examination with support from clinical staff in Year 3. They will also work with the joint BM Finals Clinical Assessment and MIP2 OSCE leads to contribute to the design and implementation of the Year 5 and MIP2 OSCEs respectively.

The post holder will be supported in this role by the Director of UG Assessments, the Year 3 Lead and the clinical module leads from Year 3.
