The Department of Sports Development and Recreation at the University of Bath manages and organises a range of activities under the University’s sports brand - Team Bath. The Department aspires to create a world leading multi-sport environment delivering to elite athletes, staff and students of the University and the local and regional community.

Team Bath delivers one of the finest high performance judo programmes in the country led by the highly-experienced coaches’ team, whose international reputation is based on its track-record of developing athletes to achieve their potential on the international stage.
We have close links with the British Judo Association and are one of their designated Pathway Centres.
The successful coach will need to demonstrate the hunger, drive and versatility to increase participation, commitment and standards at all levels of the Programme by working with grass-root beginners through to international judoka.
