We are seeking a proactive individual to work in the busy post-award team. The post holder will work as part of a specialist team who support research and enterprise awards.  With responsibility for a portfolio of awards, you will be supporting all aspects of post award including ensuring adherence to external funder regulations and internal policies and regulations. The post holder will also monitor budgets and provide detailed forecasts to ensure funds are appropriately managed. You will also have responsibility for collating evidence to support financial claims ensuring eligibility of costs. Providing support to the academic lead on other managerial activities related to the award as well as monitoring partner activity and compliance will also be part of the role.

You will have excellent numerical ability and attention to detail to enable implementation of complex funder regulations and monitor budgets. Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of the research environment are also expected.  

Please note that this is fixed-term to cover a period of maternity which is expected to be for a duration of 1 year. If you are considering this post as a secondment, please speak to your line manager.
