Senior Security Officer (ES5023-18-063)

Bring your security experience gained within an environment with high standards of achievement to manage our Night Security Team who ensure our students, staff and buildings are safe.  Key elements of the role will include:

Managing the delivery of security services within a customer focussed environment 

Leading, motivating and developing the team

Formulation and implementation of security policies 

Conducting and monitoring staff appraisals and encouraging further development

Training needs analysis of the security team to ensure knowledge is updated

Production of written reports and statements in relation to security investigations and risk assessments

In addition to your ability to recruit and train staff, key to success in the role will be your working knowledge of safe working practices, primary health and safety legislation and fire and security alarms and access control systems, the ability to foster and maintain good working relationships and high levels of customer service skills.
