You will provide high-quality research support for a defined research project on an anti-doping education intervention among grassroots coach across European member’s states. The post-holder will have a good academic background in sport psychology or psychological research.  Previous experience of being involved in psychological and/or educational interventions, especially related to anti-doping strategies would be advantageous. Likewise, experience in the use and application of smart phone technology to research settings would be potentially useful. Further, you will create and contribute to the creation of knowledge, by engaging in a specified range of duties within the programme of research. Main duties will include: liaising with established contacts at various national governing bodies, recruiting participants, providing verbal and written information for participants, data collection, entering data onto SPSS, designing the online intervention, report writing, attending meetings throughout Europe, and the preparation of manuscripts for journal submission.


Finally, you should have a minimum 2:1 degree in Sport & Exercise Science or Psychology (or equivalent qualification) and PhD or be close to completing a PhD in either sport psychology or psychology. You should have excellent organisational and communication skills. Previous experience of educational interventions and/or an interest in anti-doping education would be advantageous.


This post is fixed term for a period of 15 months and also warrants a DBS.
