Digital Artist (027618)

Applications are invited for a full-time Digital Artist to support demonstration and promotion of CVSSP research in creative technologies. The post-hold will lead the development of creative pipelines, digital content and showcase demonstrators working with CVSSP researchers and industry partners.  The role serves as a key liaison between researchers and the Centre’s outputs by assisting with idea prototypes for new creative technologies and toolsets.

The post-holder must have experience of content production pipelines including 3D modelling, rigging, animation and motion capture. Experience of content production for Virtual Reality and interactive graphics for games is an advantage. The post-holder should also have experience of production of promotional materials including video production and web-page design.

CVSSP is one of the largest computer vision research centres in the UK focusing on vision, graphics, machine learning and signal processing, with 120 members comprising academic, research fellows and PhD students. The centre is supported as a national hub for research in audio-visual media and maintains strong collaborative links with the UK creative industries (film, games, broadcast, VR and AR).
