The University is seeking to recruit two Admissions Administrators to join the admissions department within Academic Services. This is a busy and highly responsible role working to provide an effective and efficient admissions service for the University. You will have responsibility for the processing of undergraduate and postgraduate applications, making decisions consistently and fairly against pre-defined entry criteria. You will have extensive contact with applicants and staff at a variety of levels within the University, and external contact with other bodies such as UCAS, NARIC and the UKVI.

In addition to these duties, it is expected that the role holder will assist with University applicant and open days, as well as interview and selection events as necessary. As a multi-site university, you may also be required to undertake occasional work in locations other than your usual office. Finally, willingness to work flexibly to meet the fluctuating demands of the admissions cycle is important.

You will need excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately. You should possess good IT skills, including full working knowledge of MS Office. Experience of working with a University student record systems, such as SITS, or other large databases and software platforms is required, as is experience of working in the field of higher education. An understanding of University admissions processes would also be a distinct advantage.

PLEASE NOTE: 

AS5173 is 30 hours per week, permanent and based at our Moulsecoomb campus.  Hours of work are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

AS5125 is full-time, fixed-term until 03/12/2019 and is also based at our Moulsecoomb campus.
