The University of West London is a leading modern university specialising in the education and development of exceptional creative, business and service professionals.

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, innovative healthcare educator to join our team of dedicated academics to support the delivery of our apprenticeship courses in nursing and healthcare at UG level. In particular we are looking for applicants with an interest in supporting our students on a range of apprenticeships including Degree Apprenticeship Nursing, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner courses.

The academic team, together with the support of administrative and technical staff, deliver programmes to students across our London and Reading campuses. Essential to this position will be the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with healthcare providers in Berkshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, and West London.

The successful candidates will have an excellent knowledge in their specialist areas of nursing and/or healthcare. Candidates should demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, other academics, clinical practitioners, and with our support and technical staff. They will be expected to develop and deliver learning material that is relevant, evidence-based and current, in order to maintain the high quality of learning and teaching associated with the college.
