Finance Business Partner (Fixed Term - Maternity Cover) (FS6062)

The University Finance Department is seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to support the College of Art and a portfolio of Professional Service areas. Based within the Finance Department, the post holder will be focused on supporting the areas to achieve their financial and strategic objectives. 

The primary function of this role is to provide a full finance business partnering service. This means supporting the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Heads of Schools and Departments and other key members of University staff by helping them to plan, monitor and influence their financial performance. 

Within the Finance department itself, there is a requirement to produce monthly management accounts, including regular re-forecasting. There will also be line management responsibility for one member of staff.

We are looking for someone who will deliver a high quality customer-focused service in a professional and proactive way, whilst also making an active and positive contribution to the Finance team. Financial skills and knowledge are essential to this role. The successful applicant will also be someone who is effective at developing working relationships at all levels.

Please note this post is fixed term up to one year, or until the early return of the post holder.
