Category: Management | Faculty/Division: University-wide position | School: University-wide position | Department: University-wide position | Location: City Centre Campus | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 03 Sep 2018 |   BCU are seeking an experienced professional to project manage an exciting transformational project, BCU Online.   The BCU Online project will increase the capability of the University to deliver online education with the support of a strategic partner.  BCU Online is a strategic project which aims to improve and grow the overall online distance learning offer across Birmingham City University. This is an opportunity for you to work with the founding Head of BCU Online in project managing this initiative through set-up, implementation and delivery of this exciting project. The role will require you to demonstrate your project management skills as you work with colleagues across the University as well as with external partners to make the strategic ambition a reality. You will need to be a good communicator, able to work with colleagues from across the University, and with external suppliers, as you strive project manage implementation of BCU Online in accordance with the Business Plan agreed by the University Executive Group.   The successful candidate will have experience in delivering major transformational projects and possess relevant professional accreditation. They will have experience of senior stakeholder management in higher education as well as a successful track record of managing change. The focus of the project is online distance learning higher education, and you will be expected to draw upon your track record of success in project management to help ensure we deliver a high quality academic offer.
