Can you provide expertise and experience of working within the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) setting to ensure our laboratory continues to be compliant with the guidelines relating to clinical trials in a clinical laboratory environment? 

Working under the supervision of Prof Phil Quirke, within a research group comprising post-doctoral research fellows, PhD students, Clinical Fellows and research support staff involved in a range of clinical trials related to human gastrointestinal cancer, your role will be to ensure the Section is compliant with all aspects of MHRA requirements of the trials undertaken within the Section.

This post is based within the School of Medicine in the newly merged Institute which will bring together the Leeds Institute of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (LIBACS), Leeds Institute of Cancer and Pathology (LICAP), Academic Business Support team and St James’ Campus Infrastructure Facilities. The name of the new institute is currently being considered and will be confirmed in the near future. The post is located in the Wellcome Trust Brenner building at St. James’s University Hospital.
