The successful candidate will be expected to support and develop a range of teaching and learning activities on our pre-registration BSc (Hons) Nursing course, predominantly focussing on the mental health field, with some cross field responsibilities. The successful candidate will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Level 1 Mental Health Nurse and hold a degree in mental health nursing. Additionally, he or she will be holding or be prepared to work towards a higher degree in a relevant subject. Our BSc (Hons) Nursing programme has been approved under the current NMC standards for nurse education, and we are currently working on a new curriculum to meet the new standards.
