An exciting opportunity has become available for a Bachelors/Masters level candidate to develop a new intelligent sensor system for large food storage warehouses for fresh agricultural produce. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary team including researchers from UK and India engaged in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science, Food Science, Packaging Technology and Agriculture. The candidate must be available to travel within the UK and India. This position is initially fixed term until 30th April 2020 with good opportunities for personal development and training. The post is suitable for candidates with experience of programming in C/C++. The post holder will have the ability to interpret and clearly articulate technical information to large audiences as well as authoring research outputs of national and international standing.
