Applications are invited for the above post in the Careers and Employability Service. The post will be based with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Employability Team which is based in the Medical School at the QMC. Whilst based in the QMC your work could take you across all the Nottingham based campuses.

Joining a multi-disciplinary team, the Projects Officer will deliver across the 4 schools in the faculty depending upon their individual needs. This could mean working on employability skills development in one school, developing online virtual learning resources in another and delivering a workshop or module in a third. Your work would also include individual and team project work such as understanding employment sector skill gaps, or developing on-line information for students. In addition you will provide one to one appointments for students to support application and interview skills. 

The key to success in this role is flexibility in handling the variety of projects and the ability to engage with the rest of the Faculty team to deliver against multiple agendas. The successful candidate will be qualified and experienced in career development, professional development, HR, teaching or other related role and will  demonstrate a track record of innovation, success and impact from high quality delivery. 

This part time (18.13 hours per week) post is offered on a permanent contract. The hours could be worked  across a pattern of 2 days one week and 3 the next, or 2.5 days per week, ideally on  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (to be agreed).
