Description :

The veterinary world is facing new challenges and it is our aim to equip graduates with the diagnostic, medical and surgical skills required to succeed in a changing world. We provide a progressive, dynamic environment which delivers an outstanding learning experience drawing upon leading-edge teaching methods and the latest research advances. We offer an exciting and innovative five-year degree course which is designed with clinical outcomes in mind and is based upon excellence in teaching informed by scientific research.

The School is divided into three clinical divisions each responsible for teaching the basic clinical sciences as well as clinical subjects. We expect the new academic staff to share our vision, be dynamic and be able to innovate and seize opportunities. A willingness to collaborate with other Schools within the University and to play a key role throughout the academic community at Nottingham is essential.

We are seeking an additional member of staff in the area of veterinary internal medicine, to add to our large, active clinical team. Motivation and team working are key attributes. Candidates should possess a primary veterinary or veterinary nursing degree or equivalent registerable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The successful candidate will have some clinical experience in clinical medicine and will be required to participate in clinical teaching, and contribute to educational and medicine research programmes.
