We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher with appropriate experience in rural/environmental policy and/or nutrient management to join an enthusiastic team at Lancaster as part of the project ‘Exploring opportunities for circular nutrient economies in grassland farming systems’.

This project seeks to understand current incentives and barriers to the adoption of circular nutrient economies within grassland farming systems. 2. Review the information landscape behind current guidance and knowledge flows for best practice on the use of secondary nutrient sources.

3. Clarify key regulation and policy areas that promote or inhibit the development of circular nutrient economies.

4. Highlight technical and socio-economic opportunities for the future development of circular economies.
