Events, Marketing, and Recruitment Officer (PERM-265-2019)

Category: Professional/Support | Hub: Registry | Department: Events | Closing Date: 22 Apr 2019 |   We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Events, Marketing and Recruitment Officer to work within our Events, Marketing and Recruitment Teams at Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU).   The role involves carrying out a wide variety of activities at BGU, all designed to raise the profile of the institution, aid with student recruitment and help in promoting BGU, its services, events and activities.  You will be expected to project manage events and take a lead role in all BGU events including Graduation, Matriculation and Open days leading on organisation and managing activity where required.  The post holder will be responsible for producing content, including writing and developing new content for internal communications. You will also deal with enquiries into Student Recruitment during busy periods. The role will require some flexibility including occasional weekend and evening work as the role requires.  Ideally you will possess Level 5 or equivalent in business and/or relevant experience.
