Senior Marketing Officer - INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY (JB6805)

We wish to appoint a dynamic, driven and creative Senior Marketing Officer to join our collaborative and progressive External Relations and Marketing Team in the School of Management. 

You will play a critical role in the Marketing & External Relations team in the creation and effective implementation of a School-wide marketing, communications and recruitment strategy in order to enhance and promote the profile of the School to both internal and external audiences, identify market trends and developments, and attract new students. The postholder will work with the Marketing & External Relations Manager in creating programme-specific marketing strategies, gathering market intelligence, undertaking research and analysing results and to plan/co-ordinate activities.

You will be responsible for the promotion of the School’s full programme portfolio to prospective students which will involve the production of all necessary marketing collateral, the generation of content for the web, overseeing various campaigns and related PR and social media activities and events. Beyond the immediate team, the role holder will also need to work closely with other members of the School’s and University’s marketing, recruitment and admissions teams.   

The School’s programmes are regularly ranked amongst the best in the UK and worldwide. We are currently 1st for Marketing and 2nd for Business and Management Studies (The Complete University Guide) and our MSc in Management programme has been ranked 15th in the world in the Times Higher Education/Wall Street Journal ranking. Both our MSc in Finance and MSc in Management also continue to feature within the Financial Times’ Global Top 100 and UK Top 10.  The Full-time MBA programme is ranked 47th in world and listed 4th in the UK (The Economist’s Which? MBA  global ranking). Our MBA has also been recognised for its focus on sustainability, we are ranked 15th in the world in The Better World MBA Ranking, Corporate Knights.
