Engagement Officer (MHNCC1187)

Are you passionate about public engagement in health and the potential for health research to transform outcomes for patients? Would you like to work in a fast paced, dynamic and innovative environment? Do you have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of different stakeholders? 

Working within the Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre across public engagement and involvement, Be Part of Research and Join Dementia Research you will provide exceptional project support to ensure the effective delivery of these high profile work areas. This will involve event planning and delivery, facilitating communication, developing and coordinating project documentation, coordinating meetings, being the first point of contact for enquiries about the projects and providing other flexible support to ensure the projects are delivered on time and to high standards. 

You will also provide ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Public Engagement and Involvement, and the Delivery Managers for Be Part of Research and Join Dementia Research as required. With excellent verbal and written communication skills you will be able to foster positive relationships with professionals and patients and the public alike.

The employer for this role is the University of Leeds.
