Customer Service Assistant – Early and Weekend Shifts
An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to work in the University of Southampton’s Sport and Wellbeing facilities, which are open to its students, staff and members of the wider community. These include the signature Jubilee Sports Centre, Wide Lane Sports’ Ground and the Watersports Centre. An extensive range of sport and leisure classes, courses and facilities are available to our customers from 0700 to 2200 every day of the week. We are looking for a Customer Services Assistant to support our Sport and Wellbeing section committed to providing student focused services in partnership with others in and around the University. They will play a significant part in enhancing the experience of students and other customers who interact with our service. In addition, they will provide valuable administrative support and help ensure the service runs smoothly.
The working pattern for this post is:
Thursday & Friday – 0645-1400
Saturday – 0915 – 1630
The role is based at the Jubilee Sports Centre (JSC) - Highfield Campus but could at times include work at Wide Lane Sports Grounds.
This post will be offered at the base pay £18,009 ( 18.75 hour, 0.52 FTE at £9,364). This baseline is subject to an annual increment.
You will be qualified to at least GCSE level with experience of working within a busy and diverse customer service environment. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office is essential.
