Applications are invited for the post of Laboratory Technician based in the Anatomical Sciences Laboratory (ASL) within the Faculty of Medicine. This is a fixed-term 1 year; part-time position (term-time only 0.5FTE).

The main duties of the post holder will be to provide technical support in the Anatomical Sciences Laboratory (ASL) in order to maintain the teaching provision of the ASL and assist teaching staff, undergraduate medical students and external clients. In addition, the post holder will help to maintain the range of teaching resources, including human cadaveric material, in the ASL. 

We are seeking to appoint an individual with experience working in a scientific laboratory, mortuary or similar environment. Applicants should have a skill level equivalent to NVQ2, GCSE or City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications or experience.
