Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to work right in the heart of the West Midlands and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Fellow to join the Department of Mental Health and Learning Disabilities within the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences. This particular role will suit Learning Disabilities nurses who are looking to develop their career in Nurse Education. We are a well-established, supportive, friendly team who work in partnership with practice and students to create an excellent learning environment. With a proven track record of student satisfaction in teaching and learning, we are keen to become national leaders in the delivery of undergraduate and post graduate education for Learning Disability Nurses. You must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Level 1 Nurse and hold a qualification in the Learning Disabilities field. 

This is a part time (0.81 FTE), maternity cover role.

If successful, you will be expected to support a range of teaching and learning activities across all of our pre-registration nursing courses. You must be highly motivated, well organised with excellent communication and organisational skills.
