We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Administrator to join our existing team and support Quality, in providing an efficient and streamlined service to the University.

Hours are 18.5 per week to be worked on Wednesday 1:00pm - 5:00pm, Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (with a 1 hour lunch break).

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in an administrative and/or advisory role and in a professional team in which flexibility and adaptability are key approaches.  You will be committed to working collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty and other Professional Services and have excellent team working, communication, organisation and planning skills.

This post offers an opportunity for someone with knowledge and experience of working with administrative systems and processes who enjoys the flexibility and adaptability of working in a busy, complex environment. This includes but is not limited to; managing meeting arrangements and attendance, producing documentation (including minutes of meetings), preparing and managing correspondence, handling queries and enquiries.

The Academic Quality Officer will provide a range of professional services to the Academic Quality Manager and support the Quality department in achieving its strategic and operational goals, in line with the University Strategy. In addition, the Academic Quality Officer will take specific responsibility in the areas of External Examining, APL/APEL, collaborative provision and the University's quality assurance and validation processes, providing high-level administrative and advisory support as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with previous experience of working within a HE environment, who will utilise their previous experience to plan and provide an effective and responsive administrative service in support of educational programmes across BGU.
