We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with a range of clinical expertise to join our motivated and innovative teaching team at the University of Southampton.

You will have a range of Physiotherapy experience, be an experienced practice educator and be able to bring innovative teaching methods and contemporary practice-based experience to our well-established curriculum. You will be expected to support the co-ordination of all the Physiotherapy practice placements and support the teaching of respiratory Physiotherapy. 

The job

A main aspect of this job is to build on and to continue to develop good working relationships with our placement providers and practice educators to secure sufficient high-quality placements for both the BSc and MSc Physiotherapy students. As part of the Physiotherapy teaching team you will also be required to support the teaching and delivery of respiratory physiotherapy education. Other tasks may include

contributing to the design and delivery of programmes including, session delivery, marking and examiningclinical visiting and placement support;student support and progressionquality monitoring and enhancement activities across Faculty and University teams

You will be joining a vibrant academic community committed to extending understanding in research, education, and practice to create integrated educational programmes unique to the Faculty and make a positive difference to local and global health. You will receive support and line management from the Programme Manager. 

The skills/experience needed

HCPC registration and be a member of CSP. Academic experience in higher education, formal teaching qualification(s) and be of Masters level or equivalent  Recent clinical and or research experience
