Lecturer in Fashion Communication with Business Studies (Styling specialism) (0.4 full-time equivalent) - Internal only (ARXXX-20-182)

Fashion Communication with Business Studies at the University of Brighton is known for an exciting and energetic design philosophy, research excellence, innovative teaching and strong links with the creative industries.

Brighton’s BA(Hons) Fashion Communication with Business Studies course offers the opportunity to study towards a 3 or 4 year BA(Hons) award, preparing students for work in the demanding fashion communication industries or fashion communication research and offers a platform for many related opportunities. The course encompasses new developments in technology as well as maintaining excellence through traditional visual media. 

The ideal candidate will have had previous industry experience in fashion communication and/or styling role within the fashion Industry.  This post requires specific skills and experience; specialist fashion communication knowledge and experience, specialist pathway knowledge and experience of styling, teaching and learning good practice, experience of pastoral support, competent IT skills and effective use of IT for teaching, learning and communication. 

This is a part-time, fixed term post for 12 months.
