Senior Lecturer in Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy (0.4 full-time equivalent) (HA3103-20-165)

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced humanistic counselling and psychotherapy practitioner to join a cross-modality, committed and forward thinking team running two BACP accredited Postgraduate Diplomas in Counselling and Psychotherapy (one Humanistic and one Psychodynamic) and a UKCP accredited MSc Psychotherapy. 

You will have relevant qualifications and experience of therapeutic practice in either Humanistic Counselling and Psychotherapy as well as relevant Higher Education experience. Most important is your commitment to, and capacity for, designing and implementing high quality counselling and psychotherapy training. You will also have a commitment to thinking across paradigms and modalities.  This post will involve course administration and there will be an opportunity to contribute to a range of aspects of the curriculum of both the Postgraduate Diplomas and the MSc Psychotherapy. In addition, we welcome applications from potential colleagues who have demonstrable research capacity.   

You will have professional accreditation with UKCP and be able to demonstrate relevant HE experience as well as have an excellent knowledge of humanistic theory and practice. 

This post is part-time and permanent and the anticipated start date would be as soon as mutually agreeable.
