Applications are invited for the above post in the Campaign & Alumni Relations Office (CARO), based at our University Park campus.

CARO’s vision is to inspire and connect people to advance knowledge and change lives, through advocacy, volunteering and philanthropy.

The main purpose of the role is to manage direct marketing and donor contact activities, building relationships in order to support mass alumni fundraising, and stewardship of donors and supporters.

A successful candidate will be someone who plans effectively, using best practice and learning through their own actions, analysing results and sharing what they’ve learnt to help develop the alumni giving programme. Working as part of CARO’s Regular Giving & Community Fundraising Team, you’ll be someone who places value on delivering a great experience for supporters of the University. 

 Examples of the type of tasks you’ll undertake include:

Project managing key aspects of large fundraising appeals, such as mailings which reach 20,000 alumni, or phone campaigns where current students are tasked with speaking to thousands of Nottingham graduates. Developing the?Regular Giving team’s?use of e-mail, online giving, and digital campaigns, and monitoring KPI's to measure campaign success.Helping to inspire loyalty among donors by delivering a planned programme of stewardship activities, from sending out thank you letters to helping with the organising of events.Responding to emails, letters and phone calls from donors.

This is a permanent position. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 21.75 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered for this position.
