We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive person to provide high quality technical support to the School of Pharmacy’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. The role holder will work closely with academic staff and the Teaching Technical Manager to prepare practical classes and oversee the day-to-day running of the teaching laboratories, ensuring that resources are maintained and available when required as well as providing technical supervision/training in the use of equipment and specialist techniques.
Candidates must have proven technical experience in relevant techniques and equipment and the capability to organise own and other’s activities to meet set deadlines. An understanding of regulations and procedure governing laboratory work (including Home Office and Health and Safety) and implications of non-compliance of other staff is also essential.
This is a full-time (36.25 hour), permanent role.
