The Widening Access Team at the University of Bath is seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and hardworking individual for the role of Outreach Officer.

You will use your knowledge of UK schools to develop and coordinate digital outreach projects and activities for under-represented students in order to meet targets set out in the Access and Participation Plan. You will join a well-established team that has a strong commitment to pursuing the goals of fair access at a University with a strong academic reputation.

You will be responsible for the management of the current cohort of students taking part in the Pathway to Bath programme and you will use your knowledge of digital teaching and learning to develop new subject and areas for new cohorts. Working with academic colleagues and subject specialists across the University you will build a set of subject linked digital projects that year 12 and 13 students from students across the region will take part in.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of school curricula in subject areas the University focuses on and experience of building and/or managing digital teaching and learning platforms.

This post is part-time, working 21.9 hours per week (0.6 FTE).
