Applications are invited for the post of Medical Statistician, within Stroke, Division of Neuroscience. You will be based at the Clinical Sciences Building, Nottingham University Hospitals, City Campus and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team coordinating multi-centre UK and international stroke trials. 

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual, who works well as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as using your own initiative. You will support the senior statistician with responsibility for trial management, programming and meta-analysis of clinical trials related to stroke using individual patient data, including development of analysis technique and will provide statistical support and training.

As the successful candidate, you will hold a Degree in medical statistics or related subject and have a proven track record or experience in a relevant role. You should have a good knowledge of statistical package: SAS, applied and/or methodological research and analysing large clinical trials. Travel within the UK and internationally will be required. Flexibility to work out of hours will also be required.

The post is offered on a full-time (36.25 hours per week), fixed-term contract until 28 February 2022. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
