The School of Health Sciences is looking to appoint an Academic Administrator – Governance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Operations team providing day to day support for Academic, and other staff, to enable the School to deliver teaching and research. The roles will give the opportunity to develop and use a broad spectrum of skills, administrational, organisational, IT and practical. 

The role will involve delivering relevant administration to support the School’s activities including the co-ordination of the School’s Governance and IT Processes to ensure accurate and timely support within university and school deadlines.  Including the quality assurance and validation courses, Student handbooks and other governance administration.  

You should be comfortable working in a team but may be asked to work on individual projects or activities and the ability to us your own initiative to find effective solutions to problems will be supported. 

This role will be desk based requiring strong IT skills with attention to detail and data will be needed to support the co-ordination of the School’s Governance and IT Processes to ensure accurate and timely support within university and school deadlines. 

This is a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours per week) post, however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
