Are you a well organised and adaptable individual, with experience of providing administrative support for student education practices and processes? Do you want to play a key role in embedding Student Education Service standards and delivering an excellent student experience?

Working with the Faculty Student Education Service Management team you will support the development of a consistent, high quality, customer-service orientated Service contributing significantly to the set-up and development of Student Education processes. 

You will have particular responsibility for managing and developing work placements and raising awareness of the Year in Industry to Undergraduate students for the Term and Year Abroad in the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies. You will coordinate employability activities across the School with the aim of equipping students for their future beyond University. 

Working in close collaboration with academic colleagues with Work Placement responsibilities, you will maintain and support existing work placements abroad, while identifying new opportunities in this area, establishing contacts with employers and setting up a range of new placements.

You will possess significant experience in providing effective administrative support for student education practices, with experience in system and process development and an ability to work with high volumes accurately and efficiently. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will demonstrate an enthusiasm and commitment for delivering a high level of support for students and staff and an awareness of the key challenges in the Higher Education sector. You will also possess effective networking skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
