Hall Porter (Part time) (NHE379421)

Based within the Halls of Residence on either University Park or Jubilee Campus main duties will include being the first point of contact for students and visitors, maintaining the security of the building, liaising with internal and external departments and providing excellent customer service at all times. Candidates will be required to set up meeting rooms and carry out basic maintenance and cleaning tasks completing relevant documentation as required. Experience of work based small scale maintenance and demonstrable customer service skills are essential for this role.

Hours of work are part time,20.5 hours per week, to be worked 5 days out of 7 to arranged (mainly 3 evenings out of 7 to be arranged) including regular weekends between 6.00pm and 12.00am. Flexibility will be required.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
