Description :

Are you passionate about making a difference and improving access to higher education? Do you have excellent evaluation and management skills? Can you develop and deliver robust evaluation and impact strategies?

Go Higher West Yorkshire (GHWY), a partnership of 13 Higher Education Providers in West Yorkshire, is looking to appoint an experienced evaluator with research skills to support and strengthen our work through a strategic project funded by the Office for Students (OfS).

The Uni Connect (UC) project seeks to identify and address issues, including attainment raising, around progression to higher education for those from groups currently under represented in higher education. You will ensure the project’s targets for improved access into higher education are met, by providing and disseminating evaluation and monitoring intelligence to aid the design, delivery, development of impactful outreach and attainment raising activity.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with the ability to meet targets and experience of devising and implementing robust evaluation and monitoring strategies to support educational and outreach activity. Working across the GHWY partnership, plus schools, colleges, communities and businesses, you will lead a team to obtain, interpret and analyse qualitative and quantitative data which supports our programme of progression to higher education.

The post will be based in the GHWY team, (normally located on the University of Leeds campus, but currently working from home).
