This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

This role aims to enhance the quality of, and build evidence for, the impact of research carried out in the School of Music. You will work closely with the Director of Impact in the School to record, and organise evidence of impact arising from staff research and support the integration of impact activities within research grant applications. You will carry out systematic reviews of impact excellence and best practice across the Arts and Humanities to inform strategic decisions about impact activity and training needs, including analysis of REF data. You will also assist in the planning and delivery of outward-facing activities such as workshops, public lectures and industry-focused events, working with non-academic audiences to maximise their impact. You will be based at the University of Leeds and appropriate mentorship and career development support will be provided in line with career stage as part of the role.
