Lecturer in Criminology (CASH050)

The School of Social and Political Sciences is seeking a Lecturer in Criminology to join our team on a fixed term contract between January and December 2025. This will be a 0.8 FTE position. 

We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach modules in broad areas of global perspectives on crime, harm, and justice. This could include, but is not limited to, a more specialist interest in the following global issues: Transnational and organised crime; State and corporate crime; Gender, crime and violence. 

You may also contribute to modules taught across programmes, including Research Methods, as well as supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

This will be a Teaching, Scholarly, and Professional Practice role which means you will be encouraged to develop projects leading to outputs that impact within and beyond the university and help to elevate its profile.
