Description :

The School of English is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Literature to provide cover for a member of staff seconded to a Leverhulme funded research project. The successful candidate appointed will undertake teaching within the School of English in the field of contemporary literature, across all years of the undergraduate programme, and at Masters level. The candidate will contribute more widely to the School’s teaching and research activities on both its UK and international campuses. Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in any aspect of contemporary British or Anglophone literature.

This is a full time fixed-term post from 1 September 2017 to 30 June 2018 based in the School of English, Trent Building, University Park.

Long-listed candidates will be asked to provide items of research if available for consideration by the School.  The interview process will include a presentation of teaching, research and a formal interview.
