Widening Participation and Outreach Administrator (063417)

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time permanent appointment in the Division of the VP (Education), working in The Widening Participation and Outreach Department (WP & OR).  

The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative support for the increasing workload of the Widening Participation and Outreach Department, working under the overall direction of the Widening Participation and Outreach Manager (Faculty Engagement) to ensure that the Widening Participation and Outreach Strategy and Access Agreement requirements are achieved.

The post holder will manage the WP & OR shared email account and support the work of the WP & OR Officers with the administration of large scale events, including the department’s residential summer schools and Year 10 Programme.  They will provide specific support to the Head of Department, including minute taking and being the first point of contact for the department for external queries and communications.

With previous experience in office administration, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, and will be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy when inputting data and communicating information to a variety of different audiences.

Interviews plan to be held on week commencing the 4th September.
